Kadokawa guidebook
It is a giant snail that lives in a cave in the mountains of southern Tibet, and it is as sharp as a drill. It has a spiky shell. It has sucker-like legs and sticks to the ceiling and can fall when a person approaches.
 チベット南部の山岳地帯の洞窟に生息する巨大カタツムリで、キリのように鋭くとがった殻を持つ。吸盤のような足があり、天井にはりつき、人が近づくと落下することもある。
JICC guidebook
It is a docile land-dwelling shellfish that usually feeds on the moss of cave floors and ceilings. It turns violent when people get close to it and tries to stab people with the apex of its shell. The ceiling-dwelling Kirru is particularly dangerous as it descends from the ceiling towards people below. However, its movements are monotonous and its trajectory is easy to predict.
 通常は床や天井の苔を食べている、おとなしい陸に住む貝類だが、人が近付くと狂暴化し、貝殻の頂点の部分で人を刺そうとする。特に天井に住むキイルルは、天井から下にいる人間めがけて降ってくるので、非常に危険だ。ただし動きは単調で、先を簡単に読める。
