Kadokawa guidebook

A giant crab that lives in a cave in Bikini Atoll, South Pacific. They came at the intruder with a large pair of scissors about one meter in length. Due to the heavy carapace, it walks slowly and sideways.
南太平洋、ビキニ環礁の洞窟に生息する巨大ガニ。全長1メートルはあろうかという大きなハサミをふりかざして向かってくる。こうらが重いため、ゆっくりとした横歩き。

JICC guidebook

Crabs crawling on the ground floor. They have much stronger legs and scissors than the average crab.
地底を這いまわるカニ。普通のカニよりもはるかに強力な足とハサミをもつ。

Origin of the name / 名前の由来

This name comes from the crab restaurant "Kani-Doraku"(かに道楽) in Osaka, Japan.
日本・大阪のカニ料理店「かに道楽」から。

Note

This crab only has one presence in the dungeon in all versions.
The graphics during the jump are unused. However, only in the MSX2 version, you can see the graphics during the jump by breaking the block below where Dorak is.
すべての機種でダンジョン内に1体しか存在しない。
ジャンプ中のグラフィックは未使用。ただし、MSX2版だけは足元のブロックを壊すことでジャンプ中のグラフィックを見ることができる。
