Chronology / 年表

Although the order of release dates was MSX2, FC, and MSX1, the order of development was FC, MSX2, and MSX1.
Since it was released in Japan in 1987, the North American version was released in 1989, after which it was ported several times and official content is still ongoing in 2020.
発売日の順番はMSX2, FC, MSX1であるが、開発順はFC, MSX2, MSX1であった。
1987年に日本で発売されて以来、1989年に北米版が発売、その後何度か移植され2020年現在も公式コンテンツが続行中である。

In 1987, Nihon Falcom released "Dragon Slayer IV Drasle Family", the 5th title in the Dragon Slayer series.
1987年、日本ファルコム社はドラゴンスレイヤーシリーズ第5弾として「ドラゴンスレイヤーIV(仮称))」→「ドラゴンスレイヤーIV ドラスレファミリー」を発表した。
The Dragon Slayer series at the time of this writing are as follows.
この時点のドラゴンスレイヤーシリーズは以下の通り。

It was announced that the MSX ver. would be sold by Falcom and the FC ver. by Namco.
販売はMSX版がファルコム、ファミコン版はナムコが行うと発表された。

MSX2 and MSX1, Dragon Slayer VI ? / MSX2とMSX1、ドラゴンスレイヤーVI ?

The magazine MSX/FAN carried an advertisement that the MSX2 version was on sale and the MSX1 version would be on sale. At first, IV was mistakenly written as VI, but after it was corrected, the MSX1 version was also sold.
雑誌MSX・FANでMSX2版発売中・MSX1版発売予定の広告が掲載されていた。最初はIVをVIと記載ミスがあり、修正されたのちにMSX1版も販売された。

"Dragon Slayer IV" for FC and "Legacy of the Wizard" for NES / FC版「ドラゴンスレイヤーIV」とNES版「Legacy of the Wizard」

The FC version was published by Namco in the form of a flyer, Namcot News 27 in 1987.
FC版は1987年にナムコからチラシ「ナムコットニュース27」が発行された。

The NES version was released by Broderbund with the title "Legacy of the Wizard". It was announced in the magazine Nintendo Power in 1988 and released in 1989.
NES版は「Legacy of the Wizard」のタイトルでブローダーバンド社から発売されることになった。1988年に雑誌Nintendo Powerで発表され、1989年に発売された。
